Why the PSLE Chinese paper rewards focused preparation
By Primary 5 and 6, the PSLE Chinese paper asks for more than vocabulary. It rewards pupils who can plan and write a composition, read an unfamiliar passage closely, and speak naturally in the oral.

The PSLE Chinese paper, component by component
The PSLE Chinese examination has four components, and we prepare pupils thoroughly for each.
Composition (写作)
Pupils write one composition. We focus on planning, a clear structure and language that earns its marks, never memorised models.
Language Use and Comprehension (理解)
Language questions and reading passages. We build accuracy and the habit of answering exactly what is asked.
Reading and Conversation (口试)
Reading aloud and a picture conversation. We help pupils speak clearly, naturally and without nerves.
Listening Comprehension (听力)
Recorded clips followed by questions. Frequent, timed practice sharpens focus and recall.

Which levels do you prepare for the PSLE?
