Meet our principal

Mdm Li Xiurong

Principal and Chinese Language Educator

Mdm Li Xiurong has taught Chinese in Singapore for close to 20 years. She holds a degree from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in China and has written and taught her own composition curriculum throughout her career.

She’s the author of I’m the Best in Chinese Composition Writing, a series that has remained a bestseller since its release. In the classroom, Mdm Li adapts her teaching to each student, building both their interest in the language and their confidence in using it.

Ms Zhu

Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics

Master of Business Administration, Singapore Management University

Ms Zhu combines familiar classroom methods with AI tools and each student’s own interests. She’s passionate about art and often brings it into her lessons. Her composition teaching focuses on the logic behind different question types, giving students a writing framework they can reuse across topics rather than a script for one essay.

She believes learning a language is about more than building knowledge. It’s also about learning how to study and how to think, so students can explore independently and keep improving on their own.

Ms Lin

Ms Lin sees education as more than passing on knowledge. To her, it’s a bridge between students and the wider world.

She builds a relaxed, interactive classroom where students are encouraged to speak up and think for themselves. As a bilingual language learner herself, she teaches Chinese alongside its cultural context, which she’s found helps students retain the language more naturally.
